NFL Network's James Palmer: Joe Burrow Has Been the NFL's Best Quarterback Since Week 5

Palmer: Burrow Has Been 'Head and Shoulders' Above the Competition

According to NFL Network's James Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been the NFL's best quarterback since Week 5 of the regular season. Palmer made the remarks on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Monday, January 30, the day after the Bengals' 27-24 overtime win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Burrow led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988 with his performance against the Chiefs. He completed 23 of 38 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning 31-yard touchdown pass to Ja'Marr Chase in overtime. Burrow also rushed for 52 yards on six carries.

"Joe Burrow has been head and shoulders above the competition since Week 5," Palmer said. "He's the reason the Bengals are in the Super Bowl. He's the most impressive quarterback I've seen this season."
